The CITB CSCS Labourers Card Explained

What is the CITB CSCS Labourers Card?

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is a certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards give validation that the individuals working on a construction sites have completed the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out on site.

The Scheme links in with a nationwide database of people working in the construction sector or on building sites who have achieved, or are committed to achieving a recognised construction related qualification.

Most site managers and contractor supervisors require construction workers on their sites to hold a valid CITB CSCS Labourers Card.

The Scheme’s application processing and contact centre is delivered under contract by the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board).
